Mission

Ocean care should be practical, creative, and accessible.

WaveMakers helps children understand the ocean through real materials, creative work, and community action. We make conservation something young people can touch, shape, and share.

Why WaveMakers exists

Marine waste and unequal opportunity are connected problems.

Many children learn about the ocean as a distant environmental issue. WaveMakers makes it tangible: waste becomes material, material becomes creative expression, and creative expression becomes public action.

Circular

Materials stay in use longer and become tools for learning.

Inclusive

Programs are built for children and communities with fewer resources.

Creative

Young people are treated as makers, storytellers, and campaigners.

Our commitment

Programs are designed for both environmental and social impact.

Coastal pollution affects ecosystems, communities, and the way young people imagine their future.

Children from vulnerable or underserved groups often have less access to environmental education, art programs, and public stages.

WaveMakers connects these needs through hands-on education, upcycling, storytelling, and community campaigns.
